Welder/Fabricator urgently required to join a leading UK manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role within a specialist Production Team, where you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality stainless steel equipment. Working in a modern engineering environment, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving manufacturing processes, and contributing to the development of specialised products.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel to specification
Perform TIG welding and MIG welding duties on stainless steel components
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Ensure all products meet strict quality standards before inspection
Support the development of improved manufacturing methods and tooling
Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
Contribute to the production of specialist and bespoke housing designs Requirements:
Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working within an engineering workshop or fabrication environment
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
