The Role
As a Manufacturing Operative, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operating machinery and production equipment safely and effectively.

Loading and unloading materials using appropriate handling methods.

Assisting with heavy processing and manufacturing operations.

Carrying out quality inspections and reporting any defects.

Following production schedules and work instructions.

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Recording production data and completing relevant documentation accurately.

Working collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
Requirements

Previous manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial experience is desirable.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow instructions and work procedures accurately.

Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Flexible approach to shift work where required.

Forklift, overhead crane, or machine operating experience would be advantageous, but is not essential as training may be provided.
