Early Years Practitioner & Preschool Room Leader Opportunities!
Location: Near Tonbridge, Kent, TN11
Salary: Circa £13.13–£14.18 per hour (£25,945–£28,020 per annum), depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: 38 hours over 4 days | Permanent | All year round
We’re looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners and a Preschool Room Leader to join a friendly nursery team in a beautiful rural village setting.
With a supportive team, a strong focus on staff development and opportunities to contribute ideas and develop the curriculum, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your Early Years career in a setting that values its staff.

Working Hours:

Room Leader: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:45am–6:00pm, Friday, 7:45am–3:00pm.

Nursery Practitioner: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:45am–6:00pm, Friday, 7:45am–3:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities inspired by children’s interests.

Observe, assess and plan next steps in line with the EYFS.

Maintain children's learning records and key person documentation.

Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
-
Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
-
For the Room Leader role, support and guide the team while maintaining high standards of practice.
About You:
-
Practitioner: Level 2 or above in Early Years/Childcare.

Room Leader: Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare.
-
Previous nursery or childcare experience.

Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.

Passionate about children's learning and development.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Right to work in the UK.
