Multi Trade Operative – Social Housing
Location: Romford and surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 + company van/fuel card and benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property maintenance organisation with a strong presence across the UK. The business brings more than a century of combined industry experience, delivering essential maintenance across the social hosuing sector.
They are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy social housing maintenance team operating across Romford and surrounding areas.
What You'll Be Doing

Carry out responsive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties.

Complete a range of multi-trade works, including; carpentry, plumbing, plastering/patch repairs, tiling, painting/decorating, general building maintenance

Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.

Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Liaise professionally with residents and provide excellent customer service.

Complete job sheets, photographs and other required paperwork accurately.

Work safely and comply with relevant health and safety procedures.

Ensure all work meets company, client and industry standards.

Carry out work across occupied and void social housing properties.
What We're Looking For
-
Has proven experience as a Multi Trader or Maintenance Operative.

Has experience working within social housing, housing association or similar environments.

Holds a city and guilds or NVQ in a trade
-
Has strong practical skills across multiple trades.

Holds a full UK driving licence.

Is comfortable working in occupied properties and dealing with residents professionally
