Planner – Real PM London
Real PM, a Turner Company, is a specialist project and programme management consultancy based in London, supporting clients across the construction and infrastructure sectors in the UK and internationally. As part of Turner Construction, Real PM combines the specialist, hands-on approach of a London consultancy with access to the expertise, resources and global reach of one of the world's leading construction organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join RealPM's planning team as a Planner, working across major commercial fit-out, refurbishment and new-build projects. Reporting to a Planning Manager, you will play a key role in developing, reviewing and managing construction programmes, supporting projects from early feasibility and pre-construction through to completion.
This is a varied, technically engaging role where you'll work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams to bring programmes to life, monitor progress and help keep projects on track. Ideal for someone with a strong construction planning background who is ready to take on greater ownership, apply their experience from a client-side perspective and develop towards Senior Planner and Planning Manager level.
Your day will include:
Producing, managing and updating construction programmes from feasibility and pre-construction through to project completion.
Reviewing and validating contractor programmes on behalf of clients, identifying risks, issues and opportunities.
Monitoring site progress against baseline programmes, analysing critical paths and preparing progress reports and forecasts.
Working with project teams to understand construction sequencing, trade interfaces, site logistics and programme risks.
Supporting pre-construction and procurement activities, including programme input for tender submissions and bid proposals.
Developing logistics strategies and contributing planning information to Construction Management Plans (CMPs).
Presenting programme information, progress updates and planning recommendations clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Directors, consultants and contractors to support effective project delivery.
Contributing to the development of RealPM's planning systems, templates and procedures.
Taking ownership of planning deliverables across assigned projects, with opportunities to lead planning on individual commissions as your experience develops.

Experience working with a main contractor or in a site-based role, such as site or package management, would be beneficial.
