Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe day-to-day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved.
Duties & Responsiblities:

CNC milling
-
CNC turning
-
Product components with agreed cycle times, confirm specifications listed on drawings, and satisfy all internal quality control measures

Use inspection equipment (vernier, micrometer, PI tape, CMM and inspection arms)

Use forklift trucks as required to collect and return material
-
Conduct daily maintenance checks on allocated machinery

Complete minor maintenance to allocated machinery
Person:
-
Recently qualified apprentice
-
Experienced in CNC turning and milling
-
Has experience of working to diameters of up to 2.3 meters
-
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
