We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join their close-knit and friendly team based in Aldershot, Hampshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys being part of a smaller team and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved across all areas of the warehouse operation.
The Role
Working within a smaller warehouse environment, you’ll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly day to day. This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same, so we’re looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving, checking and organising incoming goods
Picking and preparing orders
Packing and dispatching goods
Maintaining accurate stock records
Using computer systems to update and manage warehouse information
Supporting with general warehouse duties across the operation
Keeping the warehouse organised, tidy and running efficiently
Working closely with the wider team to ensure everything is completed accurately and on time
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous warehouse experience
Is comfortable working in a smaller, close-knit team
Has a hands-on, can-do attitude and isn't afraid to get stuck in
Has good computer skills and is confident using warehouse/stock systems
Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Is organised and reliable
Is happy to support across different areas of the warehouse
Works well as part of a team and takes pride in their work
No forklift licence is required, and there is no heavy lifting involved in this role.
What's on Offer?
£30,000 – £32,000 salary
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
No weekend working
