Repairs Coordinator
Location: Brislington, Bristol
Contract: Initial 3-month contract
Pay Rate: £15.90 per hour PAYE or £20.10 per hour Umbrella
Working Arrangement: Fully office-based for the first 2–3 months, with potential hybrid working of up to 2 days per week once fully competent, subject to business needs and office cover.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Coordinator to join a busy Responsive Repairs team, helping to ensure repairs are arranged efficiently and completed to a high standard.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you will be responsible for coordinating repairs, scheduling appointments, supporting colleagues working on-site, and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are completed right first time, resolving issues as they arise and helping to deliver an excellent service to residents and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, respond to and manage repair enquiries from residents, contractors and internal colleagues.

Accurately record repair requests and prioritise work in line with agreed timescales and procedures.

Allocate, plan and schedule repairs effectively to maximise resources and minimise delays.

Monitor the progress of scheduled jobs throughout the day, liaising with operatives, surveyors, supervisors and trade managers.

Keep residents and stakeholders informed of appointment arrangements, delays, changes and repair updates.

Rearrange appointments where necessary and proactively resolve scheduling issues.

Provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues working on-site, helping to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales.

Update internal systems promptly with accurate notes reflecting the current status of repairs.

Check that completed repairs have been appropriately recorded by operatives and escalate any concerns to the relevant managers or supervisors.

Liaise effectively with contractors and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient repairs service.

Identify and respond to potential health and safety concerns relating to resources and scheduled works.

Previous experience in repairs coordination, housing maintenance, scheduling, facilities management or a similar administrative/customer service role would be advantageous.
