£13.63 per hour (PAYE) 23 week contract
30 hours per week (up to 36 at peak times), 8.30am to 5.30pm over 3 days including 1 weekend day, plus 1 half day

Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting a Seasonal General Attendant to join Newry, Mourne and Down District Council's Tourism, Culture & Events team at Slieve Gullion Forest Park. You'll be the friendly face welcoming visitors, keeping the site safe and running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
Collecting car park entry fees and issuing season permits
Traffic management and directing visitors around the site
Providing a warm, helpful service to visitors and dealing with queries
Supervising public use of the facilities and making sure council bye-laws are followed
Handling cash safely and keeping accurate records
Opening and closing facilities, and carrying out safety and security checks
General cleaning, maintenance and reporting any defects
Giving first aid where needed
What you'll need:
Either GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent plus at least 6 months' customer-facing experience, or at least 1 year's customer-facing experience
At least 6 months' experience of cash handling and keeping records
Awareness of health and safety and manual handling
The ability to work on your own initiative
Access to transport to get to the site
Availability to work weekends and public holidaysA current First Aid certificate (e.g. British Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Order of Malta) is desirable.
