We are currently recruiting for TIG Welders for a contract position working with our client in Rotherham until Christmas
Immediate start available, subject to interview/weld test
Rate of £18.00 per hour for basic hours
The Role
The successful candidates will be working primarily with 2mm stainless steel, producing high-quality welds to engineering drawings and specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
TIG welding 2mm stainless steel
Working from engineering drawings
Producing neat, high-quality welds to a high standard
Setting and operating TIG welding equipment
Preparing, cleaning and inspecting materials prior to welding
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working to production targets and quality standardsRequirements
Previous experience as a TIG Welder
Strong experience welding stainless steel, ideally around 2mm thickness
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant welding qualifications/certifications would be advantageous NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Welding would be expected.
