As an Onboarding Adviser, you’ll take ownership of customer account information and help ensure customers are onboarded and offboarded accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales. You’ll manage a varied workload across activities such as transfers, changes of occupancy, new connections, supply disputes and customer enquiries, working closely with customers, wholesalers and colleagues to maintain accurate records and deliver a high-quality service. You’ll also identify opportunities to improve our processes and add value for customers, while ensuring all activity meets operational, regulatory and data protection requirements.
About you
You’ll be customer-focused, organised and comfortable managing detailed information in a busy environment. You’ll communicate clearly, build positive working relationships and take a proactive approach to resolving queries and meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience of working in a customer service environment
- A strong understanding of how to manage and enhance the customer experience
- The ability to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and KPIs
- Experience of using billing or case management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A flexible, collaborative approach to supporting team and business priorities
