We’re hiring an Electrical Fitter to join a specialist manufacturing team based in Hyde.
In this role, you’ll be working on the electrical fitting and wiring of bespoke conveyor systems – from new builds and customer modifications through to on-site installations – in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

Mon – Fri | 8am – 4:30pm (37 hours)

What will you be doing as an Electrical Fitter?
-
Routing, fitting, and securing cables and wiring looms within machinery
-
Cable management across a range of bespoke and customer conveyor systems
-
Connecting and testing motors, sensors, and electrical components
-
Interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to carry out installations
-
Supporting the electrical setup of both rental and customer conveyor systems
-
Conducting electrical testing and fault-finding
-
Completing wiring on pre-built control panels

Ensuring all work meets electrical safety standards and quality procedures
What do you need?

Time-served with relevant electrical qualifications – including 18th Edition (BS 7671)

Proven experience in electrical fitting, panel wiring, or a similar hands-on electrical role

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Experience with wiring looms and cable management

Understanding of industrial machinery or conveyor systems (advantageous)
