The Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance is a ground-breaking project working to improve housing condition, health & wellbeing outcomes for residents across Lincolnshire.
Funded by Lincolnshire County and District councils, the Good Home Alliance works across housing, health, social care and other organisations to identify housing condition issues, provide advice on available options and deliver practical support to enable people to stay safe, warm and well at home.
The Advice and Caseworker has a particular focus on supporting people to address housing condition issues, including hoarded homes and fire safety; improve energy efficiency, and connect households to available solutions, services or trades.
Hosted by East Lindsey District Council, this this role will work with residents and households across Lincolnshire.
The Alliance welcomes applications from individuals with a proven track record of managing a caseload, supporting people to make home improvements, providing information and advice directly to residents, and building trusted relationships with individuals, households, professionals and services.
The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic team player who can demonstrate their ability to research, identify, connect and implement innovative solutions to improve the quality of homes for some of the county’s most vulnerable residents.
What we need from you:

Demonstrated experience within a relevant area of work for example energy advice, housing support, community casework, hoarding support or home improvement services.

Understanding of the impact of poor housing conditions on health and wellbeing outcomes.

Previous experience of working with members of the public, vulnerable groups and multi-agency working

Experience of working within changing service environments and adapting to different approaches to service delivery to meet customer needs.

This role involves regular travel across Lincolnshire, with multiple site visits on a regular basis. The ability to independently and reliably travel as part of your daily duties is essential.
