Security Coordinator
Location: Edgware, North London (in office)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Coordinator to join a growing security and operations team based in Edgware.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career within security operations, incident management and corporate security. You will play an important role in monitoring activity, coordinating responses and ensuring incidents are recorded and communicated effectively.
The Role
As a Security Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operation of the security team. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents and ensure relevant information is escalated to the appropriate teams.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor security systems, alerts and incoming information.
Respond to and coordinate security-related incidents.
Escalate incidents in line with established procedures.
Maintain accurate incident logs and records.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, security personnel and external stakeholders.
Monitor CCTV, access control and other security systems where required.
Produce incident reports and operational updates.
Support emergency and business continuity procedures.
Identify potential risks and ensure they are communicated appropriately.
Follow company security policies and procedures.
Provide general operational support to the wider security team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, calm under pressure and highly organised, with a genuine interest in security and operations.
You will ideally have:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm when dealing with incidents or challenging situations.
Good IT and administrative skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A professional and confident approach.
Previous experience in security, operations, customer service, control room or a similar environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
