The role of the Warehouse Operative:

Picking and preparing components and cables based on works orders
-
Responding to watch buzzer calls from the production floor
-
Light admin tasks to support the team
-
Kit assembly: pick, count, and organize parts using bills of materials

Quality control: check for accuracy, quantity, and any damage
-
Inventory management: keep workstations tidy and stock updated

Operating basic kitting/handling equipment

Recording production data and reporting issues
-
Communicating with production and stores to manage parts and shortages

Always following health and safety guidelines
