Ecommerce Account Executive
Inspire Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Ecommerce Account Executive to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on ecommerce operations and account management role, focused on the end-to-end fulfilment of ecommerce orders for a portfolio of clients.
Rather than being focused on product listing or website merchandising, you will play a key role in making sure customer orders move smoothly through the entire process — from initial enquiry and order receipt, through stock and inventory checks, order management and coordination, right through to fulfilment and dispatch.
You will work closely with clients, internal teams, warehouse and fulfilment functions, and other key stakeholders to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently and to the required service levels.
Duties:
-
Manage the end-to-end ecommerce order process, from initial enquiry through to fulfilment and dispatch.
-
Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients, building strong and professional working relationships.
-
Receive, review and process ecommerce orders, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete.
-
Monitor order progress and proactively manage any issues, delays or exceptions through to resolution.
-
Check product availability, stock levels and inventory data to ensure orders can be fulfilled effectively.
-
Liaise with warehouse, fulfilment, logistics and other internal teams to coordinate the smooth processing of orders.
-
Maintain accurate order and client data across internal systems.
-
Use data and reporting to monitor order volumes, stock availability, fulfilment activity and potential issues.
-
Investigate discrepancies relating to orders, inventory or customer requirements and coordinate appropriate solutions.
-
Communicate clearly with clients regarding order status, stock availability, delivery expectations and any issues affecting fulfilment.
-
Manage multiple client requirements and competing priorities in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
-
Ensure agreed client processes, service levels and fulfilment requirements are consistently followed.
-
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors and improve the overall client and customer experience.
-
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless journey from order receipt through to dispatch
Requirements:
-
Experience in ecommerce, order management, fulfilment, customer service, account management or a similar environment.
-
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
-
Good attention to detail, particularly when working with order, stock and inventory data.
-
Confidence working with spreadsheets, systems and data to monitor and manage activity
