Are you an experienced Business Travel Consultant who speaks Dutch to a native or professional level?
We’re working with an established and growing travel business looking to recruit Dutch Speaking Business Travel Consultants to join their UK team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous business travel experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to join a business offering flexibility, development and a strong benefits package.
You’ll be working with business travel clients, managing bookings and enquiries primarily through a shared inbox, with the opportunity to support dedicated corporate accounts.
What will you be doing?
As a Business Travel Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:

Managing business travel bookings and client enquiries

Providing a high level of service to corporate travellers

Handling enquiries predominantly via email, alongside telephone contact

Booking and amending travel arrangements
-
Using GDS systems to manage reservations

Applying fares and ticketing knowledge to find appropriate travel solutions

Building strong relationships with clients
-
Managing multiple requests while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Working closely with colleagues across the UK and Netherlands

Meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and service levels
What are we looking for?
You’ll need to speak Dutch at native or professional level and have previous experience within business travel.
You’ll also ideally have:

Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant or within a similar corporate travel role

GDS experience – Sabre is preferred, although Galileo or Amadeus will also be considered

Good fares and ticketing knowledge

Strong written communication skills

Confident telephone and customer service skills

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities

A calm and organised approach when working under pressure

Strong relationship-building skills

The ability to manage your own workload while working as part of a wider team
Working Pattern
The role can be based from London, Colchester, Leamington Spa, Manchester or Edinburgh.
The preferred working pattern is three days in the office and two days from home following an initial two-week office-based training period. However, there is flexibility for the right candidate, with weekly or potentially monthly office attendance considered depending on experience.
Working hours will operate on a rota between 8am and 6pm, and some Bank Holiday working may occasionally be required.
Salary & Benefits
The basic salary is £32,000 – £36,000, with salaries up to £37,000 available in London depending on experience.
