Admin Officer
Location: Nottingham, NG1-7EJ Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pay rate: £12.86ph

Our Client is hiring for an Admin Officer to join a team where your day-to-day work directly impacts users, colleagues, and public service outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertake administrative checks and vacancy management to ensure details are accurate
- Provide customer-focused support to users and stakeholders via face-to-face interaction, telephone (incoming and outbound), and correspondence in a range of formats
- Use HMCTS service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to the right services, including clear guidance for those with complex needs
- Handle administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearing activity
- Follow complaints policies and procedures-respond promptly to prevent escalation and keep records updated as required
- Process case files, ensuring accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention and data loss protocols
- Support jury service tasks such as selection, deferral, reassignment, and attendance tracking, including processing related expenses and court fees
- Assist with listing and scheduling, supporting responsiveness to urgent matters and adherence to listing policies
- Support enforcement procedures, including financial assessments, fine collection support, and producing basic statistical/financial reports
- Contribute to health and safety operations (e.g., facility checks, issue logging, and PEEPs) under team leader guidance
What you'll bring:
- Strong administrative capability with an eye for accuracy and detail
- Confidence dealing with people and providing clear, consistent information
- Professional communication skills across face-to-face, telephone, and written channels
- Calm, compliant approach to handling sensitive information and procedural tasks
- A proactive mindset-able to spot risks relating to buildings and escalate appropriately
Additional information:
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work to performance and service standards
- Experience supporting operational processes and maintaining accurate records
