We're recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Cheltenham. The company is continuing to grow, making this a great time to come on board and become part of a welcoming team that takes real pride in the quality of its work.
This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone with previous assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail and is looking for a role with long-term potential.
What you'll be doing:
Assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies
Building and testing complete systems
Assembling parts from stores
Integrating sub-assemblies into finished products
Completing documentation accurately
Using company tablets to access engineering drawings, emails and team communications
Scanning and recording supplier information
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workspace
Following company processes to maintain high quality standards
Supporting stock control for production builds
What we're looking for:
Previous assembly or electrical assembly experience (essential)
Good dexterity and a strong eye for detail
Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
A reliable, positive and proactive approach
Someone who works well as part of a friendly team and takes pride in their work
