Are you an experienced Paint Prepper looking to join a growing and innovative manufacturer?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of products and components for paint, ensuring surfaces meet the highest quality standards before entering the finishing process. Your work will play a vital role in delivering high-quality finished products.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Paint Prepper, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing components and products for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, cleaning, and degreasing
Inspecting surfaces and identifying defects requiring rectification prior to paint application
Carrying out surface preparation to ensure components meet quality standards
Using hand and power tools to achieve the required finish
Masking and protecting components prior to the painting process
Supporting Paint Technicians and Spray Painters with the preparation of parts and materials
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures and company standards
Working to production schedules while maintaining excellent attention to detail and qualityWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previous experience as a Paint Prepper, Paint Preparation Technician, Vehicle Prepper, Production Prepper, or within a similar manufacturing environment
Experience preparing metal, composite, automotive, aerospace, or manufactured components for painting
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding, masking, filling, cleaning, and finishing
Experience using hand and power tools
The ability to follow technical instructions and work specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good awareness of health and safety requirements
