We are recruiting for a well-established, growing engineering company near Melton Mowbray. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team, with a genuine temp-to-perm route available.
The Role
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Key duties include:
MIG welding mild steel up to 25mm
TIG welding stainless steel
Experience in structural welding and fabrication
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Fabricating components to a high standard
Reporting to the Fabrication Manager
Working independently on a variety of jobs and materials when required What We're Looking For
Apprentice-trained or time-served Welder Fabricator
Strong MIG and TIG welding and fabrication experience
MIG and TIG welding structural steel experience
At least three years' experience working with mid- to heavy-gauge mild steel
Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
Fitting experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
Able to work on your own initiative and hit the ground running Why Join?
