Reception Teaching Assistant (EYFS) - Blackburn
Full Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Start Date: After October Half Term (W/C 2nd November)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Blackburn that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within their Reception Class on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Role
Supporting teaching and learning within a busy Reception classroom
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
Supporting children's development across communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Assisting with observations, assessments, and learning through play
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Carrying out welfare assistant duties as part of the school day
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is essential
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
Working Hours
8:45am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
