Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming secondary school in Orrell, WN5.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a genuine difference to students' day-to-day education. Whether you have previous school experience or are looking to take your first step into education, training and support are available.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to help students access their education and get the most from their time in school.
Your responsibilities could include:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support
Helping students understand and complete classroom tasks
Encouraging positive engagement and participation
Supporting students with additional learning needs
Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with teachers and other support staff
Providing general support throughout the school day
Assisting with exams when required
Training & Development
Teaching Personnel can provide:
Teaching Assistant training
Free Exam Invigilator training
Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
Access to further CPD and development opportunities
Valuable experience within a secondary school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
