Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Southampton
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Type: Permanent
We are currently working with Ridge, who are looking to add a Geoenvironmental Consultant to their Southampton team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in geoenvironmental and contaminated land work who is looking to develop their career within a busy multidisciplinary consultancy.
The role will include a mixture of site and office-based work, with involvement across a range of ground investigation and contaminated land projects.
The role will involve:
Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments
Ground investigations and site work
Soil and groundwater sampling
Ground gas monitoring
Contaminated land assessments
Remediation and validation
Producing factual and interpretive reports
Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultantsThe ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Geology, Environmental Science or a related subject
Previous experience in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
Experience carrying out site investigations and producing reports
A good understanding of contaminated land
