Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced CNC Grinder Operator to join a manufacturing team in Bridgwater.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinding machinery, producing precision components to engineering drawings, specifications and required tolerances.

Key Duties
Set and operate CNC grinding machines.
Read engineering drawings and work instructions.
Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers.
Make machine offset and tooling adjustments.
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Identify machine, tooling and quality issues.
Complete production records and follow Health & Safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous CNC grinding experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Good understanding of tolerances and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience with cylindrical, centreless, surface or universal grinding is desirable.
CNC programming or editing experience is desirable.
Engineering qualification is desirable.
