Student Success Coach
Location: Lowestoft / Great Yarmouth
Hours: Part-time (18.5 or 26 hours per week)
Contract: FTC (2-8 weeks)
Salary: £13.57 - £14.40 p/h (DOE)
MUST HAVE A CURRENT ENHANCED DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE
We are recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Success Coaches to join one of our clients. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers, improve attendance and engagement, and achieve positive progression outcomes.
You will provide personalised support to learners, build strong relationships, offer guidance and encouragement, and work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external agencies to ensure learners receive the support they need to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support.
Supporting learners to improve attendance, engagement and achievement.
Identifying barriers to learning and implementing effective support strategies.
Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
Working with teaching staff and support services to coordinate learner support.
We're looking for someone who has:
Current enhanced DBS check on the update service.
Experience supporting young people, learners or individuals in an education, training, coaching or support setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and encouraging approach with the ability to motivate others.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
