Hours: Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm | Fri 8:30am–4:30pm

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join our client’s team in Rotherham on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and modification of standard Rittal products, working to engineering drawings and written instructions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Assembly and modification of products.

Reading basic engineering drawings.

Operating machinery including milling machines, grinders, stud welders and wall saws.

Deburring, filing and applying touch-up paint.

Using general hand tools.
-
Packing finished goods and maintaining a clean working environment.

Providing technical support to customers and colleagues.
-
Working safely and meeting production deadlines.
The Ideal Candidate:

Previous manufacturing, engineering or workshop experience.

Good attention to detail.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Confident using computers and standard software.
-
Self-motivated, adaptable and customer-focused.
