We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid, clean UK driving licence to join a growing team in the Derby city centre area.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive business, working a favourable day shift pattern. All candidates must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months experience in a stores operative / logistics environment, ideally having supported with some deliveries/ collections in a company vehicle.
Hours of work: 0700 – 1600 Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour (reviewed annually)
In order to be successful for our Warehouse Operative role, you must have the following attributes:
Willingness to support with various shift requirements depending on business demand / absence covering
Picking products in a medical packaging environment
Some production experience would be advantageous but not essential
Manual handling and general housekeeping of the warehouse area
Comfortable taking the company van (3.5 ton Luton) on short journeys to collect and retrieve stock
Hard-working and detail-oriented
