Warehouse Operative
Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Burton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for stable, long-term work with a structured shift pattern. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
Transportation to the Burton site and return is provided, with bus pick-up points available at Erdington, Aston, and Witton. Candidates from the wider Birmingham area are welcome to apply, provided they can drive or arrange transportation to these pick-up locations.
Day-to-Day
Work shifts are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (day shift) or 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM (night shift).
The schedule follows a 4-days-on, 4-days-off pattern, which cannot be altered.
Day shift pay rate: £12.71 per hour.
Night shift pay rate: £13.26 per hour.
Responsibilities
Efficiently pick, pack, and process orders according to company standards.
Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly (training will be provided if necessary).
Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
Basic English proficiency is required to pass the assessment during the induction process.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting and moving items.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
