Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator
Type: Permanent
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: West London
Working pattern: On-site
Our client is looking for an organised and dependable Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to join a busy operational team in West London.
This is a varied role combining warehouse administration, logistics coordination, order support and day-to-day communication across a fast-moving operation. It would suit someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working with different teams and making sure equipment and orders are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
The role
You will support the day-to-day coordination of warehouse and logistics activity, helping to keep orders, deliveries, collections and internal movements running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, preparing operational paperwork, updating internal systems and helping coordinate the movement of equipment between locations.
You will also liaise with colleagues, suppliers and external delivery partners, helping to resolve queries and make sure information is communicated clearly across the operation.
The role will involve supporting a range of general warehouse and logistics administration, including order processing, delivery documentation, stock-related records and other operational paperwork.
You will work closely with the wider team to help plan workloads, prioritise activity and ensure that equipment is available and ready when required.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, transport or similar operational environment is important for this position.
You should be confident managing a busy workload, comfortable dealing with several priorities at once and have strong attention to detail.
Good Microsoft Office skills are required, particularly Excel, together with confident written and verbal communication.
Experience using a warehouse, stock, logistics or order-processing system would be useful, although experience of a particular system is not essential.
Because of the nature of the operation, experience working with video, sound, lighting, event production, specialist hire or other technical equipment would be a strong advantage.
This could suit someone currently working as a Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, Transport Administrator, Distribution Coordinator or Operations Administrator who is looking for a broader and more varied position.
