If you are a Construction Administrator, Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Technical Administrator looking for more responsibility and a clear career path, this is a strong opportunity to move into document control.
You will join the Design Management team of an established construction contractor in Corby. You don't need previous document control experience: experienced colleagues will provide full training while you work on live construction projects.
You will learn how to manage drawings, technical documents and project information, build experience with document management systems, and support Design Managers and site teams across several live schemes.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role where you will help keep project information accurate, current and easy to access. You will work with Design Managers, site and commercial teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
What you’ll be doing

Upload, issue and track construction drawings and technical documents

Maintain document registers, trackers and electronic filing systems

Monitor drawing revisions and keep project records up to date

Issue project correspondence and technical information

Support Design Managers and project teams with document control

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams

Prepare Excel reports and archive project documents correctly

Provide general construction administration support when required
What we’re looking for

Experience in construction administration, site administration, project administration or a similar role

Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook

Strong organisation and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication

Confidence dealing with project teams and external contacts

A willingness to learn new systems and document control processes

An interest in construction drawings, technical information or design management
