Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Colchester. This role would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Working Hours: 6am - 2:30pm available Monday to Friday
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a Food Production Sector.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will vary depending on operational requirements.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Picking and packing orders
- Receiving and dispatching goods
- Conducting inbound and outbound goods inspections
- Packing incoming stock away and rotating stock, including pallet handling
- Reviewing orders to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining warehouse health & safety procedures at all times, including housekeeping and equipment maintenance
- Maintaining space efficiency within the warehouse
Candidate Requirements The successful applicant will possess:
- A valid counterbalance forklift license
- Relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- The ability to work independently
- A strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy
- The ability to learn quickly
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills
