Our client is seeking a bubbly and conscientious individual who is highly detail conscious to support the team with administration and customer service tasks within a busy transport office ensuring customer and depot queries are dealt with promptly and professionally, transport information is accurately recorded and updated, and deliveries are coordinated efficiently
Job Description for the Customer Service Coordinator role:
Supporting the busy Transport Office with day-to-day administrative duties
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails from customers, dealing with queries in a professional and helpful manner
Responding to queries from fellow network depots, both by telephone and via the messaging system, relating to deliveries being completed on their behalf
Adding consignment and delivery information accurately to the relevant systems
Updating and maintaining transport records and databases, ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date
Monitoring delivery information and following up any queries, delays or issues as required
Liaising with drivers, customers and other depots to obtain and provide relevant delivery information
Assisting with the coordination and administration of deliveries, ensuring information is communicated clearly and efficiently
Investigating customer queries and working with the relevant departments or depots to resolve issues promptly
Recording and updating information relating to failed, delayed or incomplete deliveries
Providing general administrative support to the Transport Office and assisting colleagues with other duties as required
Deal with enquiries promptly and efficiently, ensuring customers receive appropriate updates
Ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded and communicated to the appropriate person or department Candidate Requirements for the Customer Service Coordinator role:

Transport experience is desirable Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
