Many of the people you’ll speak to are volunteers with varying levels of technical knowledge, so clear communication matters. You’ll join a small, supportive team in a relaxed city-centre office, providing telephone and email support across specialist software covering areas such as membership, donations, accounting and foodbank administration.

Your responsibilities as Customer Service Advisor
Providing support by telephone and email, resolving software queries clearly and professionally.
Guide users with different levels of technical ability through software features and processes.
Learn the company’s software packages thoroughly to provide accurate and reliable assistance.
Help customers get the most from systems covering membership, donations, accounting and foodbank administration.
Maintain accurate, professional communication while supporting the company’s reputation for customer service.
Share customer feedback and ideas that could improve software, services and the overall user experience.
What we’re looking for in a Customer Service Advisor
Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software packages quickly and thoroughly.
Experience providing customer support or dealing directly with customers.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to people with varying levels of computer knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage customer queries effectively.
Working hours: Full-time, term time only. Part-time or job-share arrangements may also be considered.
