White Label is representing an established manufacturer furniture to recruit a Draughtsperson to join their growing design team. This is a great opportunity to work across a diverse range of products within a business that designs both its own product ranges and bespoke solutions for third-party customers.
You will play a key role in taking products from initial drawing through to manufacture, working closely with on-site production, manufacturing, and administrative teams. If you enjoy variety, have a strong eye for detail, and want to be involved in the full product development process, this could be the perfect next step.
Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £37,000 depending on experience

Working hours - 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30pm Friday

Duties of the Draughtsperson
-
Use SolidWorks to develop products and generate 3D CAD files, technical drawings, assembly visuals, and bills of materials

See products through from design to manufacture, liaising with production, manufacturing, and administrative teams

Support prototyping and testing of new products

Develop a thorough understanding of the company's standard product ranges and manufacturing capabilities

Answer technical enquiries relating to special or bespoke products and assess project feasibility

Produce product costings for special enquiries where required

Attend site visits as appropriate to assess site conditions, liaise with customers, or assist with installation
Experience Required of the Draughtsperson

Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a design or draughting-based role

Proficient in SolidWorks (essential)

Understanding of design for manufacture using woodworking CNC machinery (advantageous)

Experience designing fabricated sheet metal components (advantageous)

Experience in furniture or related industries (advantageous but not essential)
