About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you'll take ownership of processing for stores and head office teams. You'll also get hands-on exposure to a variety of duties - from onboarding and employee record management to supporting day-to-day HR queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to handle end to end payroll in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll administration
- Processing starters, leavers and employee changes
- Managing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP
- Payroll validation and reconciliation activities
- Processing payroll amendments and adjustments
- Responding to payroll queries
- Ensuring compliance with current UK payroll legislation
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll projects
- Working across multiple payroll cycles and deadlines
What You'll Bring
3-5 years' experience within a payroll position
- Proven end-to-end payroll administration experience
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Experience processing high volumes of payroll transactions
- Payroll reconciliation and validation experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience working within a payroll bureau or outsourced payroll environment
- SAP payroll or SAP KeyOps experience
- CIPP qualification or payroll-related certification
