Production Welder
Location: Dudley
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday early finish
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Welder to join a busy manufacturing business based in Dudley.
The company manufactures a range of steel products and materials-handling equipment, working across different industrial sectors. This is a hands-on production role working within a busy workshop environment.
The Role
MIG welding steel components and fabricated products
Working from drawings and specifications
Using jigs, fixtures and workshop equipment
Checking welds and finished products to ensure they meet the required standard
Working as part of a production team to meet deadlines
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
About You
Previous experience in MIG welding / production welding
Able to work from engineering drawings
Good understanding of fabrication and steelwork
Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Relevant welding/fabrication experience is preferred
