Experienced Factory Assembler – Automotive Components
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £471.00 gross per week
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:15pm
Job Type: Temporary – Indefinite
We are looking for an experienced Factory Assembler to join an established automotive manufacturing company in Birmingham.
This is a hands-on production role requiring previous experience in factory assembly, power press operation and working with metal components.
Main Duties

Assemble automotive components using hand tools and production equipment.

Operate power presses and other factory machinery.

Carry out presswork and component fitting.

Pressure test finished parts and check for leaks.

Inspect components for defects and quality issues.

Pack completed products ready for dispatch.

Maintain production standards and follow health and safety procedures.
What We Are Looking For

Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential.

Proven experience in component assembly is essential.

Previous power press or metal presswork experience is highly desirable.

Confident using hand tools and production machinery.

Good manual skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

Reliable, punctual and able to work to production targets.
Important: Due to the 6:30am start, applicants must live locally or have their own reliable transport.
