We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join an established manufacturer of precision cutting tools, supplying high-quality products into a range of industrial environments. Based in Stockport, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled manufacturing team where attention to detail, quality and customer service are at the heart of what they do. You will play an important hands-on role in the production process, working with specialist equipment and demonstrating experience in Brazing or Silver Soldering, within a precision engineering environment. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with a competitive hourly rate of £13-£16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities of Production Operative:
Working in the production environment, manufacturing and re-tipping diamond blades and core drills.
Complete production orders accurately, efficiently and on time, ensuring all work meets required specifications.
Develop a multi-skilled approach, supporting different production activities and adapting to changing customer demands.
Maintain high standards of quality, and attention to detail across all tasks.
Ensure stock levels are maintained in line with required production and customer needs.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment while following all required processes and procedures.
Paint spraying of produced items.Qualifications and Experience required from Production Operative:
Competency in Brazing or Silver Soldering
Experience with CNC machines and a FLT license is desirable but not essential.
Production or Manufacturing environment experience.
