Baler / Light Machine Operative
Taskmaster Resources are looking for a Baler / Light Machine Operative for our client based in Bacup.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start: October
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours
Sunday: 6:00am – 6:30pm
Monday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am – 10:00am
Role Responsibilities
Operating the automatic baler/compactor safely and efficiently.
Operating the baler from the control panel and monitoring its performance.
Managing material stocks within the bunker.
Changing ancillary items such as bale wire when required.
Monitoring the condition of the baler and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
Keeping the baler and surrounding work area clean, tidy and safe.
Taking and recording accurate baler data for reporting purposes.
Carrying out general light machine operation and associated tasks.
Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
Completing relevant paperwork and reports.
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Previous experience operating machinery or a baler is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
