Hours: full time or part time, rota across, Monday – Sunday, 7:00 – 20:00
Pay and duration: £12.71 per hour, up to end of March 2027
Are you an experienced administrator with EMIS and SUNRISE experience and confident speaking with people over the telephone?
We're looking for a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team at Kings Court 1 in Worcester.
This is a varied administrative role within a healthcare environment, where you'll use your existing systems knowledge and communication skills to provide effective support to patients, colleagues and healthcare teams.
With full-time and part-time hours available and a rota covering Monday to Sunday between 7:00 and 20:00, this role offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to build valuable experience within a healthcare setting.
What you'll be doing
As an Administrative Assistant, you'll provide essential day-to-day administrative and telephone support.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing professional and helpful support to patients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Handling telephone calls confidently and professionally.

Using EMIS and SUNRISE systems as part of your day-to-day role.

Accurately entering, updating and retrieving information from healthcare systems.

Supporting general administrative processes and maintaining accurate records.

Responding to queries and directing enquiries to the appropriate person or team.

Handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Working effectively with colleagues to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Escalating any issues or concerns to the appropriate team member.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
What we're looking for
Previous experience using both EMIS and SUNRISE is essential for this role.
You'll also need:

Previous experience in an administrative or healthcare administration role.

Confident telephone and communication skills.

A professional, friendly and helpful manner.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

The ability to manage your workload and prioritise tasks.

Confidence working with computer systems and handling confidential information.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Flexibility to work across the rota, including weekends where required.
You'll also need either a vocational Level 3 qualification or at least 2 years' relevant experience.
