Shift: Monday–Friday - odd Saturday

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T HGV Driver to join our client, a busy and well-established fruit and vegetable wholesaler.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular, ongoing work with a friendly and professional company.
🚚 The Role

Driving a 7.5T vehicle delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to customers

Completing multiple deliveries throughout the day

Loading and unloading goods

Checking delivery notes and ensuring orders are delivered accurately

Providing excellent customer service at each delivery

Carrying out daily vehicle checks

Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
👤 The Ideal Candidate
-
Valid 7.5T / Category C1 licence
-
CPC and Digi Tachograph
-
Previous commercial driving experience
-
Multi-drop delivery experience preferred
-
Experience within fresh produce, food or wholesale distribution would be an advantage

Physically fit, as some manual handling is involved

Reliable, punctual and professional

Good communication and customer service skills
