As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining accurate records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work
Carry out regular floor walkthroughs, engaging directly with production staff to check safety procedures are being followed
Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions through to completion
Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics
Assist with internal and external audits, following up on any non-conformances
Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your experience will include:
A background in engineering or manufacturing, with the confidence to engage shop floor teams on safety matters
A genuine interest in health and safety; any exposure or a relevant qualification is a bonus, not a requirement
Comfortable with Excel and general admin, keeping accurate, well-organised records
A clear, confident communicator who can hold their own on the factory floor
