We are seeking a dedicated and experienced VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) & Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. The VNA / Counterbalance Driver is responsible for efficiently operating specialized forklift equipment to transport, load, and unload materials within the warehouse environment. This role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth inventory flow, ensuring timely shipping and receiving, and supporting overall warehouse productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to safety protocols, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Duties

Safely operate VNA forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse, adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.

Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update stock records, and support stock accuracy.

Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance.

Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.

Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, following ergonomic guidelines.

Support inventory management activities by organizing stock locations and conducting periodic cycle counts.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements

Proven experience operating VNA & Counterbalance forklifts or similar narrow aisle equipment in a warehouse setting.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and data entry.

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with materials handling procedures, including safe lifting techniques.

Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities.

Ability to lift heavy loads consistently while adhering to safety standards.

Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable; familiarity with forklift certifications is required or preferred.
