T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch for an Assembly Operative to join their team on a temporary-permanent basis.

Assembly Operative Job Details & Benefits;
- Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
- £12.71 per hour
- 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Assembly Operative Job Details;
- Mechanical assembly of enclosures and assemblies
- Using hand tools including screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers, and torque wrenches
- Applying Loctite and other assembly materials correctly
- Following assembly instructions and build documentation
- Ensuring products are assembled carefully without scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
- Carrying out visual checks throughout assembly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting continuous improvement within the department
- Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements
Assembly Operative Person Specification;
- Previous Assembly experience is desirable
- Previous experience using hand tools including screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers, and torque wrenches
- Able to following assembly instructions
- Have a careful eye for details and be able to query any inconsistencies with products
- Must be able to follow company quality procedures and health & safety requirements
