Paint Sprayer
Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Pay: £16.00-£17.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Duration: Temporary - Projects throughout October

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to support a busy client working on a number of high-end Christmas projects throughout October.
The role will involve spraying and finishing bespoke items being produced for retail window displays and in-store activations.
Each project will be different, so we are looking for an experienced sprayer who takes pride in their work and is confident producing consistently high-quality finishes on a range of bespoke pieces.
Duties will include:
Preparing products and surfaces ready for spraying
Wet spraying bespoke joinery and display components
Applying primers, paints, lacquers and finishes
Mixing and preparing paints where required
Sanding, filling and preparing surfaces
Achieving a smooth, high-quality finish
Carrying out touch-ups and finishing work
Checking completed items for quality and consistency
Working alongside joiners and the wider production team
Keeping the spray area clean and organisedThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous professional paint spraying experience
Experience with wet spraying
Good knowledge of surface preparation and finishing
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to achieve consistently high-quality finishes
Experience working within a workshop or production environment
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlinesPrevious experience spraying joinery, furniture, shopfitting components, exhibition pieces, retail displays or other bespoke products would be highly advantageous.
This role will involve working across a range of Christmas projects throughout October, so candidates with good availability across the month are encouraged to apply.
