The Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and positive Recruitment & Executive Support Administrator to work closely with our Directors and experienced recruitment consultants. Both of our Directors continue to run busy recruitment desks alongside managing and developing the company, so this is an important hands-on support role at the heart of the business. A key part of your role will be helping to keep their recruitment desks and working days running smoothly. You will support daily bookings, candidate communication, placements and administration, alongside providing wider executive and occasional personal administrative support to the Directors. Our consultants are highly experienced and successful within their markets. Your role will be to work alongside them, providing practical and reliable support that enables them to focus their time on candidates, schools and developing their desks. As a growing company, there is also plenty happening beyond day-to-day recruitment. You will have opportunities to support company events, database and office projects, new systems and other business initiatives.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys being busy, likes getting things organised and takes satisfaction from helping other people work effectively, while also wanting to develop their own skills and responsibilities as the company grows.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Directors with the day-to-day running of their busy recruitment desks.
Assisting with daily supply bookings for teachers and support staff.
Liaising with schools and candidates regarding availability, bookings and placements.
Creating, updating and managing placements within our recruitment database with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Contacting prospective teachers and support staff and completing initial candidate registrations.
Supporting candidate recruitment through database searches, calls and candidate communication.
Providing executive and administrative support to the Directors, including organisation, diary management and ad-hoc tasks.
Assisting with occasional personal administrative tasks for the Directors where required.
Helping to organise company social events, meetings and team activities.
Supporting and contributing to internal projects, including database, systems and office projects.
Answering incoming calls and providing general support with the day-to-day running of the office.
Providing additional practical support to the Directors and wider team as required.Who We're Looking For
You will be proactive and able to use your initiative, but equally comfortable taking direction and adapting to the priorities of the Directors and consultants you are supporting. You should enjoy being part of a team and take pride in being dependable, organised and one step ahead. This is a role for someone who notices what needs doing, follows things through and is happy to get involved in the small day-to-day tasks as well as the more interesting projects. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, while continuing to be a trusted and valued source of support to the Directors and wider team.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience within recruitment, administration, executive support, coordination or another busy office environment.
A positive, flexible and can-do attitude.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
