Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for fabrication. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality products, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout the fabrication process.
Responsibilities

Complete fabrication process from cradle to grave.

Fabrication of a variety of products, such as conveyor systems, pipework, structural steel fabrication such as staircases, walkways and gantries.

Fabricate components and assemblies according to specifications and drawings.

Utilise basic maths skills to measure and cut materials accurately.

Experience in MIG and TIG Welding.

Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, to assemble parts securely.

Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce finished products.

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the fabrication process.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Experience

Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Familiarity with welding techniques, particularly stick welding, is essential.

Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous.

Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools effectively.

Basic maths skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations.
