Administrator – GAP Claims Assessment
Salary: £26,450 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Location: Warwick
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1 day working from home
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (37.5 hours)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established insurance solutions provider that partners with many of the UK's leading automotive dealer groups to provide GAP insurance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator, Customer Service Advisor or Claims Handler looking to develop a long-term career within the insurance industry. Full training will be provided, making this an opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills.
The Role of Administrator – GAP Claims Assessment
As an Administrator – GAP Claims Assessment, you will manage your own portfolio of GAP insurance claims, supporting customers throughout the claims process and ensuring each claim is handled efficiently, accurately and professionally.
You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, researching vehicle values, liaising with motor insurers and keeping customers informed at every stage.
Manage your own portfolio of GAP insurance claims from start to finish
Research the current value of customers’ vehicles and negotiate with motor insurers
Speak with customers to explain the claims process and provide regular updates
Review and validate documentation to ensure claims are processed accurately
Maintain accurate records using internal systems
Work closely with colleagues to ensure claims are resolved efficiently
Deliver a professional, empathetic and reassuring service to customers
The ideal candidate for an Administrator – GAP Claims Assessment will have:
Previous experience in administration, customer service or claims handling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
The ability to research information and make informed decisions
A proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
A genuine desire to help customers and deliver excellent service
Insurance, automotive or motor claims experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
