Planner & Scheduler, £12.71 – £15.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily work packages for engineers.
-
Allocate service tickets based on engineer skills, location and availability.

Optimise driving routes to maximise productivity.
-
Monitor job progress and ensure deadlines are met.
-
Coordinate tools, equipment and materials required for jobs.

Source parts from suppliers and track deliveries to prevent delays.

Support the helpdesk with scheduling and job updates.

Liaise with engineers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
Requirements

Previous experience in planning and scheduling, ideally within engineering, facilities or maintenance.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Confident using IT and scheduling systems.

A proactive approach and ability to work under pressure
